Becoming a Member

We welcome your interest in making Haverford Friends Meeting your spiritual home, whether you are new to the Religious Society of Friends or are  transferring  from another Quaker Meeting. We have a simple process for doing so. 

To begin the process of joining, please contact Joan Manhardt, Clerk of our Care and Counsel Committee after Sunday Meeting for Worship or by emailing joan.manhardt64@gmail.com. She will explain  the process and answer any questions. The Care and Counsel Committee will form a small clearness committee to explore with you what your spiritual path has been and what you would like it to be in the Meeting, including opportunities to take part in the life of the Meeting. There is  a Membership Application form that you may complete online or in hard copy format. We look forward to hearing from you!
