Friends School Haverford
Reading to FSH Students at the Meeting
Friends School Haverford (FSH) was founded by the Meeting in 1885 to provide an education for the children of our Meeting and of the neighborhood. We have a close, on-going relationship. Members of the Meeting serve on the FSH School Committee (board), the Head of the School periodically gives a report to Meeting for Business in Worship, and members of the Meeting join in various school activities. We share each others facilities, including the Meetinghouse, Heritage House and the playground. We encourage joint activities with the school, including leaf raking and Visitors Day at the Meeting. Family and friends of the School are always welcome at our Meeting!
