Wednesdays 1:30 PM-2;30 PM Kaffee Klatch - an informal meeting of F(f)riends from around the country for camaraderie and thought-provoking conversation. (via Zoom only). Childcare for children from infants to 18 is now available almost all Sundays while parents attend Meeting for Worship. For more information, please see Infants/Children/Youth.

 Young Friends Meeting will again participate in Hospitality on January 7, 2024. They are excited to greet members and visitors and to prepare snacks and drinks for the rise of Meeting. Childcare is available each week in the classroom on the second floor for babies and young children. 

First Sunday of Every Month, 9:00 AM: Pancake Breakfasts for Parents, Children and Anyone  Who Likes Pancakes! in the Forum Room

Meditation with Deborah Cooper

Deborah Cooper has been inspiring the Haverford Friends meditation group for years.
We have a special treat that she will be teaching and meditating with us not once but
twice this spring. Please join us, no experience needed, no regular attendance to
our meditation group needed. Come learn from a wonderful, compassionate teacher!

March 3: Charmaine Seitz, Writer/Editor. “My Experience in Palestine and The Role of Media”
Charmaine worked as a journalist in Ramallah for the Jerusalem Media Communications Center (JMCC) before starting her own communications company. An Earlham College grad with an MA from Hebrew University, she understands Hebrew and speaks fluent Arabic. Charmaine is a member of Harrisburg Friends Meeting. She is married to a Palestinian, Shehada Abualshreikh.

Mike Merryman-Lotze of AFSC will speak on AFSC initiatives in Palestine and Israel.
March 17: How can Friends promote peace and justice in the region? We will review what AFSC
and Friends’ organizations are doing now, and what’s been done in the recent past. Members of
PYM’s Middle East Collaborative have been invited.
