Haverford Meetinghouse

Quaker Quest

A spiritual path for our time.
Simple. Radical. Contemporary.

Six introductory sessions beginning this spring!

Happy Quakers

Are you curious about Quakerism? Do you confuse Quakers with the Amish? Wonder if they look like the guy on the Quaker Oats can? Wonder no longer.

Haverford Friends Meeting is presenting Quaker Quest, a series of introductions to Quakerism focused on specific topics. Each session presents three speakers on the given topic, and each session is a mix of speakers, discussion, worship and hospitality. There is always literature available for guests to take away, and there are always experienced Friends present to guide discussion and answer questions.

Childcare will be available. Guests will be home in time for dinner. Refreshments will be served and the sessions are entirely free.

Sessions will run on Sundays for six consecutive weeks. There is no obligation to attend more than one meeting.

Sunday April 6th: Quakers and Peace
Sunday April 13th : Quakers and Spiritual Experience
Sunday April 20th : Quakers and Raising Children
Sunday April 27th: Quakers and Peace
Sunday May 4th : Quakers and Spiritual Experience
Sunday May 11th : Quakers and Raising Children

All sessions begin at 3:00 p.m. in the Forum Room of Haverford Friends Meeting, 855 Buck Lane, Haverford, 19041.
